Health Aspects of 5G Antennas: current low-level evidences and experimental design strategies

A state-of-science review is presented, which investigates potential bioeffects and interference actions of antennas adopted in 5G technology, with reference to human health safety. Exposure effects in terms of genotoxicity, cell proliferation, gene expression, membrane effects are highlighted, with specific focus on the 'low-level' impact on human health. Strategies to improve the effectiveness of the experimental procedures adopted to assess the adverse health effects of MMW radiation coming from 5G antennas are also outlined.
