The Evolution of Automotive Radar Circuits — from Gunn Diodes to CMOS SoCs

This talk is based on Infineon Austria’s history on the radar topic. An evaluation of the radar will be presented from the first diode based radar to the latest SoCs. Besides the mm-wave radar, the dual application of the mm-wave radar front-end for wireless sensing is also discussed in this talk.
