New regulations don't often match the speed of technological innovation, nor should they! The balance between maintaining public safety and empowering innovation is a fine line, and one that is crucial to get right. Nowhere has this balance been tested in recent years as much as throughout the regulation of autonomous vehicles. This session will explore how the AV are currently regulated across North America, both from the stack to individual components, and where those rules might go in the years to come.
