Digitally Intensive Power Amplifier Based Transmitter for Ultra-Low Power RF Communication

Digitally intensive power amplifier (DPA) based transmitters become essential for ultra-low power RF communication systems, eg internet of things and biomedical applications, due to their lower area and power consumption and minimizing the analog imperfections. In this talk, low-power DPA architectures and their design challenges are presented. Furthermore, the state-of-the-art DPA-based transmitters are also introduced and discussed.
