Towards a SWIPT Distributed Network Based on WPT and Backscatter Solution
SWIPT is the change in radio paradigm that can allow a true implementation of IoT in large areas. The need for energy to power up sensors is a demanding issue and it is fundamental if we want to move to massive deployments. Nevertheless SWIPT is normally based on existing access points to implement this technology. In this talk a smart city deployment of distributed IoT backscatter devices is presented, with real environment approaches. Backscatter combined with WPT and Energy Harvesting will be presented for Smart City implementations.
